How far in advance does a facility need to be reserved?

It is best to reserve the facility you want as soon as you have a confirmed date. Many peak wedding and holiday dates are contracted 6-12 months out. Most facilities allow a cancellation up to 3 months out from the event with no penalty fee.

Does the cost to rent a facility include tables and chairs?

It depends on the facility. But reguardless of whether tables and chairs are said to be included, facility rentals costs average out the same. Either you pay a higher fee for a facility that includes tables/chairs or you pay a lower fee for a facility with a separate fee for tables/chairs. Our event planners can discuss the fees/options for each facility that you would like to consider for your special event.

Does the cost to rent the facility include the catering costs?

No. Food, beverage and service staff is a separate fee.

Does Tronco’s allow other caterers to use their facilities?

No. Tronco’s has their reputation to protect. We know that we offer our clients the best quality food, beverage and service at the best value.

What is the average cost-per-person of a typical event/reception?

An event/reception can range in price from $5/per person to $50/per person because there are so many details involved. It is best to first determine a budget and then let Tronco’s event planners share with you the type event/reception such a budget will afford.

Can a client provide some items on their own such as alcohol, wedding cake and floral/decorations?

Yes. This is your event and we want you to be happy with your choices. However, most clients ask us to handle all the details of their event because of our ongoing relationships with the best vendors in this business. Our event planners can discuss your options.

Can Tronco’s create custom hor’ d’oeuvres and/or entrees for an event?

Absolutely! Our catering menus can be altered/substituted with equivalent foods. Tronco’s chefs will work with you to make your special cuisine vision a reality.

Does Tronco’s offer taste tests and/or samples of menu items?

Yes. For large events and custom food orders, our chefs will prepare test samples to insure that the items are everything they should be prior to the event. For wedding receptions, Tronco’s will suggest that brides come see other reception set-ups prior to the date of their own reception.

When does the ‘final count’ (numbers of people attending) need to be given so that Tronco’s can plan for the event?

The ‘final count’ must be called 5 days before the event date. Also at that time, final payment for the event is due.
